April 19th, 1993 ... it was just another day at Tates Creek Highschool when B-ROK was in history class but then he was exclaimed to get to the phone. First Brian thought something serious happened to his family 'cause otherwise nobody would call him at school. It turned out to be something about the family ...
Brian's cousin Kevin called from Orlando and asked Brian to be with a group 'cause there's just missing Brian's special voice. After that Brian rushed out ... took his yellow pick-up -bleeding banana- and drove home to discuss things with his parents. As a mature cousin ...
Kevin called Brians parents before he called Brian at school and therefore, Brian's family knew what could happen next and it was all on Brian just to say YES! Fortunately Brian said YES and he flew to Orlando the very next day. Nick, Howie, AJ, Kevin -of course- & Lou Pearlman (the guys' former manager) liked Brians voice from the very first moment and so on April 20th, 1993 the Backstreet Boys were born.
It's hard to meet Brian while he's not smiling 'cause there's always a smile in his eyes. Smiling, making funny faces, strange noises or imitating Donald Duck which causes tears from laughing ... FRICK is fond of life from the very deep of his heart. This doesn't mean that Brian can't be serious when it comes to serious things. But his optimistic attitude works very pleasant on each and everyone who is or will ever be in touch with him.
Kentucky-based Brian who is known as a believing person grew up singing at church and he even did the solo parts at serveral weddings. So he's very much into harmonic and gospel music. As he still loves gospel music it inspired Brian to write a very special song which's on the Millennium album. It's a wonderful song about love and thankfulness ... dedicated to Brian's very first and THE PERFECT FAN -his Mum-. Brian's parents had rough times to go through when a major heart disease was figured by chance when Brian was at the age of 5! But Brian made it and he made it twice in his life. The last surgery is more than 2 years ago and Brian's condition is pretty well today.
The combination of a strong character, a great sense of humour and an angelic voice makes Brian one of the most popular Backstreet Boys. People like Brian Littrell just make this world a better place.
