Story: "Glitter" is a story about a young singer Billie Frank (Mariah Carey) who had a difficult childhood. She's trying to find her mother Lillian who abandoned her because of financial difficulties.
She left her in an orphanage where Billie was waiting every day for her to come back. Years later, Billie is discovered by DJ Julian Dice (Max Beesley). They first become friends and then they fall in love. Her singing career gets much more attention.
Billie meets a talented musician Rafael (Eric Benet) with whom she becomes good friends. Julian starts to feel jealous and her life becomes much more complicated...
